Madhur Bhandarkar Does Charity For Movie Title

Loading ...Madhur Bhandarkar was also ‘title-struck’ like some of his colleagues (read Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali) because he could not get the title for his new movie. Finally, he did hit upon a title called ‘Heroine’ for his movie that is going to star Kareena Kapoor. The film is loosely based on the life of the world sex symbol Marilyn Monroe.
The sad part is that the movie title has already been Guddi Dhanoa who has made movies like Deewana, Elaan, Bichoo, Kismat etc. Since Madhur was doing to do anything it takes to get the title, he hit upon a novel idea. He decided to donate Rs. 1 lakh to Guddu Dhanoa’s charity and became the proud owner of the title ‘Heroine’.
Madhur has stated that it was very sweet on Guddu’s part to give him the titl e of the film. Madhur also clarified that he may change the title of the film in due course, if the situation warranted so. He said that movie is still in its premature stage to take a decision and that he was working on the script.
