Raajneeti with its resounding first week opening of Rs.56 crore in the first week is the movie with the biggest opening in 2010, beating My Name is Khan that released in February 2010. Raajneeti’s 56 crore achievement in the first week is the third biggest Bollywood opening ever, lagging behind Ghajini (Rs.64 crore in 1st week) and 3 Idiots (Rs. 80 crore in the first week).

Raajneeti is also the biggest Bollywood hit of 2010, followed by My Name is Khan and Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge. The performances of everyone in the film and the script have been appreciated a lot.
