One of the finest actors in Bollywood, Ravi Baswani died of a massive heart attack in Himachal on July 27, 2010. He was known for his brilliant performances in movies like Chasme Baddoor, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Kabhi Haan Kabhie Na, Bunty aur Babli, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya etc.

Ravi Baswani was known for his comic timing. In fact, he had won the ‘Filmfare Best Comedian Award’ in 1984 for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He died in Haldwani, on his way to Delhi from Shimla where he was reportedly looking for locations to shoot his directorial venture. He had done some 30 odd films in his 30 year old career. Ravi Baswani was unmarried and 63 when he passed away.
