Madhavan Says No to The 3 Idiots Remake

Loading ...3 Idiots is being remade in Telugu. The Tollywood version will have Vijay, Silambarasan, and Mahesh Babu. Madhavan was offered a role in the remake but the actor has politely declined. He tweeted, “So sorry folks! It’s final and confirmed. I am unfortunately unable to do 3 Idiots in Tamil and Telugu.”
Madhavan has cited that he is too busy to afford time for the remake. He is currently doing Abbas Tyrewala’s “Jhootha Hee Sahi”, previously titled as 1-800-Love. He will be also seen opposite Kangna Ranaut in “Tanu Weds Manu.” Though speculations were there that Maddy didn’t want to spoil the uniqueness of his character, he says that his dates being busy is the real reason.
Madhavan also has another film called “Sunglasses” opposite Konkana Sen Sharma, which is a family entertainer. Madhavan will do a South project with Kamal Hassan called Manmadhan Ambu. So now we know why he cannot do 3 Idiots remake. Madhavan presently is hosting a quiz show on television called “Big Money – Chota Parda Bada Game.”
