Madhur Bhandarkar Signs Shruti Hassan Opposite Emraan Hashmi

Loading ...Madhur Bhandarkar is ready to resurrect Shruti Hassan’s stagnant acting career with his comic caper ‘Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji’. Shruti debuted with a flop called ‘Luck’. Madhur, a huge fan of Kamal Hassan, says, “Shruti has met me some months ago expressing the desire to work with me. I though she would suit part opposite Emraan Hashmi perfectly.”
Madhur is happy about the fact that inspite of being influential enough, Kamal Hassan never went out of his way to promote her career and let his daughter handle things on her own. Admits Madhur, “Kamalji is a legend. And I can’t say the thought of working with his daughter did not pass through my mind. However, I must add that Shruti is a very bright, pretty and talented girl. She’s bound to go far.”
