Mahesh Manjrekar Back in Bollywood on Salman Khan’s Insistence

Loading ...We wonder when did he go away but Mahesh Manjrekar admits that he had decided to quit acting once and all. This was obviously going to be a bad news since Mahesh is genuinely talented, and was the mainstay of movies like Kaante and Wanted.
Salman Khan who is quite serious about his home production Dabangg, has asked Mahesh to step in as debutante Sonakshi Sinha’s father. In fact, Mahesh had decided to quit acting after this film, but Salman reportedly has asked her to continue because he is a good performer in front of the camera, as much as he is behind the camera. He will be doing another film with Salman Khan called ‘Ready’ produced by Anees Bazmee.
Says Mahesh, “Salman said you have to do it. I know I decided I won’t be acting anymore. But you can’t say no to Salman. He said, “You’re in Ready and you’re part of my family in the film. Beyond that, all I know is I play a positive role for a change.”
