Raajneeti is the 3rd Biggest Grosser in Bollywood Ever

The entire Raajneeti team has something to celebrate, the movie has raked in 90 crores just in India, making it third in the list of all time biggest Bollywood money makers in Indian cinema history. After 3 Idiots (which crossed 200 crores) and Ghajini (100 crores plus), Raajneeti is the only film to have touched the 90 crore mark (in four weeks) and is still counting

Once labeled a flop actor, Arjun Rampal is now known be the man with the golden touch. After Om Shanti Om, success is pouring like anything for him- Rock On(won him many awards including National Award), Housefull and now Raajneeti, in which the hunky actor has been quite appreciated. Arjun however, says that the accolades that he has got after Raajneeti is unbelievable. Needless to say, last month has been his best professionally speaking.

“Really, this is one dream from which I don’t want to wake up. It is still sinking in but honestly, it has not yet sunk in totally. It all seems to be happening all around me and in such a manner that it is almost surreal. I can’t believe the kind of appreciation that is coming in from critics as well as audience”, says Arjun who is inundated by congratulatory calls ever since the release of this Prakash Jha directed film.

Arjun is also thankful for Prakash for having him trusted him with the role. “I am very happy for Prakash. It has taken him six years to get his script bang on and ultimately what he brought on screen did justify the presence of all the characters”, he says fondly, “It was a wonderful experience making the film and now we are enjoying the accolades and appreciation coming in. For that, I have to say a big ‘Thank You’ to the audience for accepting our film with such a big heart.”
