Peepli Live Gets Involved in a Controversy

Loading ...Now that Peepli Live, like in most cases for hit films, stakeholders from different areas do come into lay their hands on the profits. We do not know how true or false this is, but there is one villager Kunjilal Malviya who wants a share in the profits of the film because he feels that the movie is based on his life story.
Kunjilal says that he had predicted his death in the year 2005, after which a battery of news channels came swarming in to cover his story. So he feels that the character Natha in Peepli Live is based on him and is very similar to his story. Though Kunjilal along with his lawyers are trying to file a case against the movie, the spokesmen at Aamir Khan Productions think otherwise. They have denied that such a controversy even exists. Let us wait and watch how this controversy shapes up.
