Salman Khan promised that Dabangg would be bigger and better than his last big hit “Wanted”, and it does so! This is a pure Salman Khan treat for his fans, a movie that spells ENTERTAINMENT at all levels.
Story of Dabangg: Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is a modern-day Robin Hood, a corrupt, fearless cop who does not think twice about speaking his mind or hammering the bad guys to pulp. But he is a man of too many paradoxes. He may have lots of black money stashed in his house but he makes sure that he gives all of them to the poor and the needy. He even helps his step father, Vinod Khanna, who he detests from the bottom of his heart. Chulbul makes a lot of friends and a lot more enemies. One of them is Chedi Singh(Sonu Sood) who tries to bump his off in various ways but is unsuccessful. Somewhere down the line, Chulbul Pandey falls in love with Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha). And he goes again on a fight to finish the bad guys. By now, you must have guessed that there is nothing worth calling a “story” in this film but it comes out scoring 4/5 on entertainment factor, which is what today’s audience are exactly looking for.
