SRK to Come Up With Another TV Game Show

You cannot keep the king down forever. 2011 already has two big movies in store for him, with Ra One and Don 2 to rock. On the television circuit as well, he seems to be happening with a game show, which is an Indianized version of a US show, Wipeout. This is his appearance as a TV game-host after three years, his last being Kya Aap Panchvi Paas Se Tej Zo?

The preproduction of the show has already kick started and the actor is now shooting for the promos. The format of Wipeout is water-based and contestants will be shooting in Argentina. This show is also very successful like Celebrity Big Brother, having been aired in 22 countries and almost all of them have gone into two or three seasons. According to sources, most of the contestants on the show will be from Bigg Boss and Fear Factor. Some of the names that are being thrown up include Vindoo, Naryani Shastri, Claudia Ciesla, Gaurav Chopra, Karishma Baktiyaar and Debina.

Sameer Nair, Star-TV’s head honcho who has a very good professional equation with Shah Rukh Khan has egged him to host the show, considering his humorous personality is always a winner; and the star was all up for it. A source says, “SRK agreed to do the show because his kids love it. And they watch the international version of the show. It is an adventure show with loads of action and comedy. And one will get to see the comic side of SRK on the show.
