Madhuri Dixit may be nearing mid forties but she still looks dazzling enough to make our hearts go flutter. She also knows this, which is why she is considering taking a plunge into the movie again, but only one condition-she will do the lead female role opposite the likes of SRK, Salman or Aamir. It is another thing that these actors are romancing with younger heroines with every passing film.
Madhuri Dixit had recently rejected Rajnikanth’s Rana because she was not willing to play the role of a sister to him. She is also being known to quote a high price for her appearance in a lead role. It remains to be seen if many producers agree to this.
The diva is all praises for Salman Khan and says that her kids loved Wanted and Dabangg. “I am aware of the growing popularity of Salman these days. I have seen his recent films. My kids just love it. Salman deserves every bit of his super success today. I really want to work with him if there’s a script” says the lady. Mads, as she is known, says “It’ll be wonderful to work with Salman and Shah Rukh again…three of us together in one film. I hope some good script comes our way. It’ll be so much fun”, says the gorgeous woman recalling the chemistry she created with the duo in “Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.”
Madhuri Dixit starred opposite Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan together in a film in the late ninetees called ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’, which fared average. But it was no doubt, one of the best casting coups in the past decade. Individually, she has worked with SRK in movies like Dil Toh Paagal Hai, Anjaam, Koyla, Gaja Gamini and Devdas, while with Salman, she has worked in movies like Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Saajan.
Madhuri is all praises of the fact that the three Khans have maintained themselves well and are matching steps with young girls. She says, “It’s awesome to see all my heroes’ getting younger by day and romancing the young girls. It’s incredible”, was flashing her trade-mark smile. Considering Shah Rukh Khan and Yash Chopra are game for a ‘mature romantic story’ in the near future, Madhuri’s wish may come true.
