While returning the signing amount to UTV, Aishwarya Rai had categorically told them that they should not be using her name for promoting the film, she is not a part of. The actress had taken leave of the film due to pregnancy and there was disappointment from the side of UTV productions and Madhur Bhandarkar because she had not informed them beforehand. But now the latest we hear is that Aishwarya Rai’s official spokesperson has issued a clarification stating that she is adamant about ending her association with ‘Heroine’ once and for all. She has sent a legal notice stating that the they should refrain from using her shoots in the film.
Aishwarya Rai’s spokesperson stated that they are upset with a section of media who has been spreading stories that Ash is angry with Kareena replacing her in the film. Elaborating on this, he said that Aishwarya Rai had never backed out of the film and had given the required dates according to the schedule but the makers had dilly-dallied with the shooting and also had not given a clarification about whether the film was stalled, shut-down or delayed. The spokesperson said that the chapter is closed now for her and that the media should also do the same.
