Hrithik Roshan Injured and Hospitalized

Close on the heels of the news of Vidya Balan’s hospitalization following a stressful schedule, it was Hrithik Roshan’s turn to be hospitalized with a bad back. It happened at the sets of Agneepath where Hrithik was supposed to lift a 110 kg man. Though the shoot could have been done with a body-double, the muscular Hrithik wanted to do it himself. Though he was able to do it convincingly, Hrithik was seen wincing in pain as he suffered an agonizing back pain. He was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital.

Following an MRI scan on the back, Hrithik has been advised complete bed rest for about 15 days. Director Rakesh Roshan however had a different take to the story; he said that he was admitted due to a rigorous working schedule, Hrithik had been working double-shift for the movie as well as his dance show ‘Just Dance’ which took a toll on him. Shah Rukh Khan’s knee surgery, Salman Khan’s nerve ailment, Vidya Balan’s low iron count and now Hrithik Roshan’s injured back- BTown seems to be working rather hard !
