Deepika Padukone Roped in for Race 2

Deepika Padukone has signed on the dotted line as one of the leading actresses of Race 2. The girl now has two films in her kitty-the about to release ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Race 2′. She will be replacing Sonakshi Sinha who has opted out of the film citing date problems. Deepika was also in a double mind about doing the film or not because she had committed to Ayan Mukherjee’s next film. But since nothing was concrete on that front, the lanky girl opted to be in the team of Race 2.

Deepika has consented to give her dates in a recent meeting. The Race 2 team now stands completed with John Abraham, Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor.
