There may be other number one actors and king in Bollywood but there is just one demigod of the box-office-Salman Khan. He was always a superstar but the last three years has made him a cult figure that is on par with Rajnikanth, the immortal superstar of South Indian cinema. Salman’s perceptible easy accessibility to people has made him a favorite of the crowd. He still looks a million bucks and speaks the language of people. He has been doing pretty well in the work front as well; his movies may not exactly be a critics favorite but he still manages to make them eat humble-pie, with...

Masala entertainers have been breathing fire at the box office since the successful “Wanted” and the cult movie “Dabangg”. The larger than life hero who bashes 50 people with one fist and sends them flying in the air is still very much entertaining; a feat that has been immortalized by Salman Khan in this decade. However, he will soon be sharing this position with Ajay Devgn who has pulled a potential box-office whammy with Singham.
Story of Singham:
Fundamentally, true to the core of any masala film, this Tamil adopted movie is the fight between the good and the bad....

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Movie is a refreshing film in terms of treatment and visual grandeur. As India’s first road-trip movie, ZNMD has its heart in place and manages to make us smile and move in equal measure. Subtlety is a trait that is not exemplified properly in our films, only a few films manage to pass that muster. This year, there have been some successful movies, but most of them have been pedestrian in content and treatment. ZNMD,a movie about male bonding, fighting out innermost fears and dealing with our innermost fears, is a refreshing take on various aspects of a subject...

Murder 2 is not a patch on the original that created history in 2004. Murder starring Mallika Sherawat and Emran Hashmi was a sexual revolution in terms of sensuality and eroticism. Though the makers had already said that the story line of the sequel is quite different from the first one, and has nothing to do with the original, Murder 2 is a disappointing venture. By the time, the movie was on the verge of release, there was news that the movie was copied from some Korean movie, though the makers denied, saying that it was loosely based on their very own Sadak (1991). But now we know that...

Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap is a pure treat for Bachchan fans. There cannot be a better tribute to the superstar par excellence than a movie made on this canvas. Director Puri Jagannadh mixes his entertainment quotient along with the grandiose star-aura of Big B to come up with a winner of a movie.
Story of Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap:

Though Dhamaal had a lot of originality going for it and was no short of a laughathon, its sequel Dhamaal 2 comes across as a dampener. Going by the last reel of the film, they are looking for the third installment to the film that will be possibly titled ‘Total Dhamaal’. With the way the second one has shaped, we would hope that the third one does not see the light of the day.
Story of Double Dhamaal:
The movie starts from where the first one ended. Roy (Riteish Deshmukh), Boman (Ashish Chaudhary), Adi (Arshad Warsi) and his moronic brother Maanav(Jaaved Jaffery) are nursing...

Ready is a movie for Sallu fans, and since Bollywood’s Rajnikanth truly has a mega fan following; the movie is going to garner a fantastic initial. Not a patch on Dabangg or Wanted as far as plot or action is concerned, Ready does showcase Salman Khan in his superstar avatar.
Story of Ready:
Salman Khan is a spoilt brat from a wealthy family; who does not do a thing well. At best, he is good at rubbing people the wrong way. Since he does not do any job, the only hobby that he specializes is in helping people find their soul mates. He keeps a tab on his uncle’s extramarital...

Ragini MMS, the latest offering from Balaji that combines sex and the paranormal, does a good job in petrifying the audience. Seeking inspiration from the surprise hit from the West, Paranomal Activity, a movie that was made out of shoe-string budget and a little bit of ‘The Blair Witch Project’, we have a sharp film-making technique that was introduced in Bollywood through ‘Love, Sex and Dhoka’, perfecting itself in ‘Ragini MMS’.
Story of Ragini MMS:
Uday (Raj Kumar Yadav) and Ragini (Kainaz Motivala) decide to spend a naughty weekend with each other at a...
