Shah Rukh Khan has Rs.300 Crores Riding on him

Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan’s popularity does not seem to wane. In fact, he is in demand more than ever with Rs. 300 crores riding on him. Though films in Bollywood are flopping badly, SRK still stands out. He is one of the few actors besides the likes of Aamir Khan who can guarantee a hit.

Reliance has bought the rights of the films Ra.One and Don 2 for Rs. 300 crores, according to industry sources. Don 2 has been purchased by Reliance from Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment for Rs. 125 crores while SRK’s movie that will release by next, Ra. One has been bought for Rs. 150 crores. The moral of the story is there is no recession for the best in the business.
