Amisha Patel Breaks Up With Karnav, to Focus on Her Career

Amisha Patel has decided to call it ‘quits’ with her long-time boyfriend, Karnav Puri. She had been dating Karnav, an NRI businessman since 2007 and people close to them believed that this one was for keeps. But it was not meant to be as Amisha has decided that the split would be better for them to concentrate on their respective careers.

Karnav actually wanted the marriage according to sources, but Amisha was keen on remaining single as she wanted to pursue her career in Bollywood. Subsequently, their relationship had become sprained, the other reason being the relationship was usually a long-distance one. Though they have parted, they have promised to remain good friends.

A source close to the couple said, “It has been a while since the two have broken up. Amisha cherishes the relationship and it was good while it lasted. Distance proved to be the final nail in the coffin as the differences never got resolved. They remain good friends, although they do not get to speak to each other often.”

Is Amisha dealing with her break-up well? The source adds, “Yes, of course. Amisha is a strong girl and has been through much.” On the career front, Amisha has signed Rajkumar Santoshi’s multi-starrer Power, in a bid to bounce back big-time in the movies.
