Let us look at some of the top flop actors of 2010:
- Abhishek Bachchan: Abhishek Bachchan encountered two mega flops, ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ was a washout while ‘Raavan’ failed terribly.
- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Aishwarya Rai was optimistic about 2010 for she had some of the best looking films on paper. But reality struck and Raavan, Action Replayy and Guzaarish took a beating. Ash had only Endhiraan(Robot) to be proud of, but all credit went to Rajnikanth.
- Bipasha Basu: Bipasha Basu had a very bad 2010 professionally speaking. All of her three films, Pankh, Lamhaa and Aakrosh disappeared from the box office without a whimper.
- Amitabh Bachchan: Everyone wondered what Amitabh Bachchan was doing in a useless film like ‘Teen Batti’. He was appreciated for his role in Rann, that released early in 2010, but even that sank without a trace.
- Mallika Sherawat: All that brouhaha about ‘Hissss’ went disappeared with the flop of the movie. It was one of the worst films of the year, and Mallika’s naked butt couldn’t nothing to lift up the sagging revenues of the film.
- Irrfan Khan: Irrfan Khan may be going international with a good role in ‘Spiderman Reboot’ but he had a disappointing 2010 where he gave three back to back flops, Right Yaa Wrong, Knock Out and Hisss.
- Sushmita Sen: Sushmita Sen has been giving nothing but flops since 2005 and 2010 was nothing different. After being a part of a delayed release ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ which flopped outright, she also ended the year with another flop ‘No Problem’.
- Sanjay Dutt: Sanjay Dutt ended the year with three flops, Lamhaa, Knockout and No Problem. In all of these films, Sanjay Dutt was good enough but the shoddy scripts did them in.
- John Abraham: John Abraham was peeved at the delay of Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Aashayein’. Though it was a good movie, it did not get a good release and took a beating. Then John changed his image and turned geeky for ‘ Jhootha Hi Sahi’ which flopped as well
- Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik Roshan’s Kites had one of the best ever opening in Bollywood but ended up a flop, because people were not happy with the content of the film. The same went for the grating ‘Guzaarish’ that failed miserably. In both the films, Hrithik had worked very hard and his performances though award-worthy, did not bring in the cash.
