Celina Jaitley may well agree that love is in the air. The New Year 2011 brings good news to Celina as she has decided to take the first step towards settling down. The blue-eyed starlet recently got engaged to Dubai-based hotelier Peter Haag.

Celina and Peter met through their respective families, exchanged phone numbers and started dating only close to a year back. The relationship was kept discreet and since Celina is quite superstitious about disclosing her personal life, kept mum. Finally when rumors about her marriage began to surface and her engagement was around the corner, Celina revealed the news. The engagement took place with the participation of a few close family members.

Celina’s best friend from Kolkata and her maternal uncle were in the actress’s Versova house. The couple exchanged rings during the auspicious durga puja but Peter’s parents weren’t present for the ceremony.

The actress however does not plan to settle down in the near future and will be contemplating marriage after some time. For the moment, her focus is on films and endorsements which she believes will continue till the next two years.
