Patiala House Has the Poster Changed

T-Series ‘Patiala House’ is a film about father and son’s relationship starring Rishi Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. The story based on Southall London, has Rishi playing a stubborn patriarch. The members of the house including Akshay has no alternative but listen to him, even though they do not agree with most of his views.

Initially, the poster was designed with Akshay and Rishi Kapoor in the foreground but after the success of Band Baaja Baarat, the makers of Patiala House have changed the poster and put Anushka Sharma in the foreground along with Akshay Kumar.

Nikhil Advani, the director commented, “Anushka is a great actress and we are happy that she is a part of Patiala House. She has proved her talent and charm in her recent hit as well. So all in all, it’s going to be a good experience in Patiala House, plus we were always planning on multiple posters which are out for the audiences.”

The movie hits the theaters on Feb 11th, 2011.
