After winning accolades for Slumdog Millionaire, Anil Kapoor made many of his fellow actors in Bollywood turn green with envy after he was signed as the villain for Mission Impossible 4. But the story is not over yet; Kapoor will be now seen in another Hollywood project called Cities opposite Hollywood star Clive Owen.
The Ronald Donaldson movie will be launched in the upcoming Cannes film festival. Some of the parts will be shot in Mumbai. The film is a story about green, ambition and lust for money which has three parallel story lines set in the times leading to the Dow-Jones all time stock market high.
The three plots involve a New York-based hedge fund manager (Owen) who has everything he wants-money, women and power but wants more; a young couple based in London who are looking forward to buying their new home which is however, out of their reach and the third story about a Mumbai cop who has to fight against corruption between property betters and his colleagues, one of whom will be played by Anil. The movie will be shot from October 2011, in London, New York and Mumbai.
