Tabu Consoles Madhur Bhandarkar over Heroine’s Loss

Madhur Bhandarkar had gone into depression after Aishwarya Rai had to be opted out of the film due to her pregnancy. He was particularly sad about Aishwarya hiding the fact that she was pregnant from him. In his present state of affairs, his past has come to console him. Tabu, who was at one point of time, was romantically linked with the famous director, came down to Mumbai to offer him shoulder. Madhur had given Tabu one of her best films, Chandini Bar (2001), which won many national awards. The talented actress is now based in Hyderabad, away from limelight but on Friday, she made it an exception.

On Friday night, the actress was spotted visited Madhur at his Kakkad Enclave residence in Khar, at 8:45 am in the evening. A source says, “Tabu tried to console him and cheer him up. Bhandarkar has been in a rather lousy mood since Ash left his project midway. The film Heroine cost him a lot of time and money. And so, Tabu advised Madhur to start afresh,” said the source. Tabu was seen leaving his residence at 10.30 pm . “Tabu and Madhur have been really close friends. Madhur was very grateful for Tabu’s visit,” said a source.

In all likelihood, Madhur has decided to dump Heroine and start afresh on a new project. “UTV has issued orders to stop the other shoots as well. The ones that do not require the lead heroine Aishwarya. Whether to still keep the project afloat is a decision that UTV and Madhur Bhandarkar, the co-producers have to take,” informed a source. There are talks that Madhur will possibly be making another movie that will include his close friend Tabu in an author-backed role, once again.
