Uday Chopra Quits Bollywood

Close on the heels of Shamita Shetty who quit Bollywood to pursue another area of interest, Uday Chopra, her co-star in Mohabbatein (2000), has also quit acting. Uday is the son of famous film director Yash Chopra. He had been associated with movies like the Dhoom series but had not met with much success in other films that he starred in. Uday tweeted, “Ok confession time… Dhoom 3 is my swan song… my last film… no I’m not giving up acting… quite the opposite, acting is giving up on me!” He had confessed in many interviews that he would take failure badly and it would affect him his self-esteem when his movies would not perform well. So, it looks like he is quitting for good. He was flooded with lot of tweets urging him to refrain from taking this decision but in all likelihood, the actor seems to have made up his mind.
