Zarine Khan Undergoes Appendicitis Surgery

Zarine Khan, Salman Khan’s protégée had a terrible stomach ache when she was shooting for Housefull 2 in Mumbai. So severe was the problem that she had to be taken to the hospital where her condition was diagnosed as appendicitis. An emergency surgery was done and she is now on the road to recovery.

A team member from the unit said, “Zarine started shooting for Housefull 2 a couple of weeks ago. On one of the days, while she was shooting for one of her sequences in the film at Filmistan, she appeared to be in a lot of pain. She complained of acute stomach pain. When the pain worsened, she was immediately rushed to the hospital.”

Due to the surgery, the shooting was disrupted. But the cast and the production team did not mind it and they were quite accommodating about the change to the schedule. A source added, “Sajid Khan was quite concerned about her condition. He immediately send out an update to the rest of the cast informing them about the change in dates.” Sajid confirmed the news, “Zarine is an absolute delight to work with. When she told me about her operation, I requested a change in schedule to the other actors. They all obliged, as everybody is very fond of her.”
