Lisa Ray Free From Cancer

Lisa Ray has successfully battled cancer. The fact that she has got her health restored for the better was evident on April 20 when she walked the red carpet at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles for her new film Cooking With Stella. Her director Dilip Mehta is obviously pleased, “,”The red carpet ceremony had to be shifted inside the Arclight Theater complex since it had started to rain. Our lovely warrior Lisa shone on the red carpet. She could have knocked you down with a feather. I’m in awe of her strength of character and she continues to be a beacon of hope.”
Lisa was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on 23 June 2009 and started her first cycle of treatment on 2 July 2009.
