The above 40s actors are still the hottest and command cult status with both sexes, even in the times of Ranbir Kapoors and Imran Khans of the industry. Hindustan Times conducted a youth-based survey and found out that Salman Khan is the sexiest man alive. Second is the sophisticated politician Rahul Gandhi while the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan secured the third position.

Salman Khan is a considered a favorite of many due to many reasons – his frank, outspoken nature, his sense of humor, his caring attitude and charity work, his inspiring, muscular body and his single status.

Sallu’s arch rival Shah Rukh Khan has also made it to the top spot for being the Best Living Role Model. He has won it not on the basis of his body but brains and incredible charisma. The second in the line of inspirational role-models is former president and scientist A.P.J Kalam and following him is star cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar.

Among the girls, Katrina Kaif has emerged as the sexiest female alive, followed by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and Bipasha Basu in the third place.
